She'll constantly make fun of how you pronounce polish words.. Then she'll rip you a new one for the hell of it :P Other than that, they are quite fun.
So yeah. I need some help here mates, I need to figure out how to say stuff like "Kiebasa", "Jedno piwo, prosz" and "bardzo ci lubi"

bardzo ci lubi apparently does not mean what I thought it means, according to google.

I haven't heard spoken Polish in years - not since a Pole friend of my dad passed away. I've still got two Polish car magazines he gave me around somewhere.

She is aware that there are an almost infinite number of Polish jokes you could counter with, right?

I only know dupa. I think it means ass. My step-dad's family name ended in -ski.

What did you think it meant? Kinda curious here now if I'm honest, I may have misunderstood that phrase myself.

It does mean: I like you very much

Polish stuffed cabbage. Beef/pork with rice in a steamed cabbage leaf with a creamy tomato sauce over the top. My grandmother was great at it.
If I ever actually find it in a Polish restaurant, the first thing I would order. The Greek equivalent is just not as good.

I don't know where you live, but if you live in the northern parts of the US or somewhere in the UK you probably know a word or two that's Norwegian, you just don't realize it :P

As a Wisconsinite with Polish heritage, the first one is said "kill-BA-sa", and is a sausage. The second is said "yedno peevoh prosheh" and means "one beer, please".
Also, the reason Polish last names (like mine) end in - ski is because Polacks can't spell "toboggan". (I used auto correct.)

I know what they mean, and I've actually learned how to pronounce the second one :)
Hehe... Toboggan is not a ski though :P It's more of a sled :P But I get your point :P

The "R" in pierogi has a very hard sound, almost but not quite a "D".
It's written "Golabki" but it's said as "Go-Wump-Kee"

As far as I know it's very much a Polish thing. Joanna becomes Joasia becomes Asia.. Same as katarzyna = kasia.

Watch polish videos. You may not understand a lick but you'll get an idea of how things sound. Of course Polish is probably like all the other languages where there are many right ways of saying things.

I married a Czech girl. She is constantly complaining about how Kolaches (the American kind, with sausage in them) are actually called Klobasnek, and REAL Kolaches are actually fruit filled. It's really annoying.

Hehe, I met this girl in my hometown, I was drunk, she was drunk (and here on a vacation). The problem is that she won't leave Poland, and I don't speak Polish so I can't just move there and find somewhere to work.
